Great show...but could have been better
Here's a newsflash for whoever mixed this: loud, punchy bass is excellent! However, when it's used so heavily that everything else is incomprehensible, you're doing it wrong. The mix was so muddy that lead singers were sometimes completely washed out! I'm not just talking about understanding lyrics...I'm saying if you closed your eyes you might not know there WAS a singer. If you can't hear that, you're in the wrong line of work.
However, the sound engineering left a lot to be desired, especially for the opening acts (was this a case of blue mixing??) otherwise I'd give this 5 stars. First of all, I thought all 3 acts were awesome...kudos for a great show.
Entry into the venue was a mess. C'mon, DeltaPlex...there's gotta be a better way. Fortunately, we were near the front of the line, but I sure felt badly for those who weren't!
Overall, though, the show was great! Even with the sloppy engineering, it was worth the ticket price. World Cup Soccer puts on a fantastic show and with the addition of the pyro the whole thing was face-meltingly insane...in a great way!
